Organic soya products

Colzagro processes only organic soya beans coming from organically certified suppliers, mainly in India.

Thorough controls guarantee complete traceability, starting from the origin of the soya beans to the delivery of the organic soya oil and expeller cake to the customers.

Before shipment of the beans, an official inspection company takes a sample of the lot of soyabeans. This sample is analysed by European accredited laboratories, on different parameters. The shipment of the beans will only start if the results of the analyses are ok.

After delivery of the beans in Belgium, an extra quality control is conducted. Finally, after processing the beans into oil and expellers, both products are again analysed for organic compliance. In Lichtervelde, high quality organic soya oil is produced as well as organic soya bean expellers. The market for these products is mainly in France, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom
