Large enough to cope, small enough to care
In Lichtervelde, 20 kilometers south of Bruges (Belgium), Colzagro have been processing rapeseed and organic soya beans, in a newly built facility, since 2006.
The vegetable oil is the result of mechanical pressing of the rapeseed and soya beans, the process being based on pressure and temperature. In addition to the vegetable oil, a protein rich expeller cake is also produced which is used as an ingredient in cattle feed.
Extensive analyses and external audits take place, to make sure that a finished product with a high and consistent quality can be provided to our customers.
